Meet Dr. Amy Tu (Severna Park, MD)

Dr. Amy Tu earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry, Boston, Massachusetts, where she was awarded the William R. Baldwin Scholastic Achievement Award and maintained active membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She completed externships at the Veterans Affairs Hospital of Manchester, Manchester, NH, Omni Eye Services of Atlanta, Atlanta, Georgia, South Boston Community Health Center, South Boston, Massachusetts and New England Eye Institute, Boston, Massachusetts with specialized training in primary care, ocular and systemic diseases, surgery co-management, contact lens exams, and pediatric eye exams.

She brings a wealth of medical experience as a graduate of Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University and from her ophthalmology residency at Shanghai Eye and ENT Hospital. Additionally, she was awarded a Vision Science Research Fellowship while investigating retinal function as a researcher at Vision Science Research Center, University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama.
