Meet Dr. Rossana Luna (Severna Park, MD)

Dr. Rossana Luna is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care for individuals of all ages. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is passionate about making quality eye care accessible and personalized for the diverse communities she serves.

Dr. Luna specializes in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, pediatric eye care, ocular disease management, and low vision rehabilitation. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she has cared for a wide range of patients, including children, adults, seniors, and individuals with complex visual needs.

She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she simultaneously completed a Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation and a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. She then completed a residency at The Eye Institute at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, further advancing her expertise in comprehensive eye care and the management of ocular disease.

Prior to pursuing optometry, Dr. Luna graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Physiology/Neurobiology and Women’s Studies. This unique educational background shaped her holistic approach to healthcare, allowing her to appreciate both the scientific and human aspects of patient care.

As a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Luna remains committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. She is known for taking the time to listen to her patients, educate them about their eye health, and develop individualized treatment plans that support their long-term visual wellness.

Outside of the office, Dr. Luna enjoys spending time with her family, taking weekend walks, and watching a good action movie.
